The Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, labor, transportation, supervision, and management for the installation, take down and cleaning of the roof fabric and side curtains of a Mahaffey Temporary Fabric Structure with dimensions of 32’ X 65’ at Grey Towers National Historic Site. Also included is the Installation and take down of a 16’ X 20’ canvas tent that is on one of the walking trails. Installation and removal dates will be scheduled with the COR and in consideration of the US Forest Service’s event needs for the temporary fabric structure space. Removal will typically be scheduled for late October or early November and installation typically in April. Cleaning will take place after taking down in the fall and will be done by a mechanical cleaning machine only (hand washing will not be permitted). After cleaning of the Fabric Structure, it will be returned folded to Grey Towers to be stored till installation. Prior to returning Fabric Structure to Grey Towers a thorough inspection will be done to determine if Fabric Structure has any failed or damaged elements such as Tears in windows or fabric, worn or damaged stitching or any other failing or damaged elements.
If any damage is found a proposal will be submitted detailing damage found and what corrective actions needed including costs. This contract includes the base year and 4 option years
