THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY - This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Responses will be treated as information only and will not be used as a proposal. Solicitations are not available at this time.

Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) serves an important role in supporting the Warfighter and is a recognized leader in providing World-Class Logistics Support for Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) (C5ISR) Systems across the Department of Defense (DOD). Integral to the success of this mission is the need to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and the protection of the resources needed to fulfill our mission. TYAD is located in Monroe County, Northeast region of Pennsylvania. TYAD’s population is estimated at 4,500 personnel during normal duty hours.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The Government is posting this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources that may possess the capabilities to provide Routine/Emergency Service and Maintenance for all components of Tobyhanna Army Depot’s Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System (ICIDS V). The framework of this system is supported by DAQ StarWatch SMS software. One of the capabilities would be certification by DAQ Electronics to purchase and install their products. TYAD is looking to see if any contractors offer a firm fixed price maintenance plan, what this plan would cover, and what the costs would be based on. TYAD is exploring all options to find a cost-effective way to streamline the way the contract will be managed. We are looking to the industry experts to see what type of methodology is commonly used.
