It is the intent and purpose of this RFP to select a firm to provide school crossing guards to cover approximately 51 corners throughout the City of Allentown. The selected firm will address the following tasks: 1. Make sure that ALL crossing guards for the City of Allentown are training in a uniform manner. 2. Make sure that ALL crossing guards for the City of Allentown perform their function in a professional/consistent manner throughout the City of Allentown. 3. Make sure that ALL crossing guard corners are covered by personnel at ALL of the assigned times. 4. Make sure that ALL crossing guards are very familiar with the contents of the training manual. 5. The primary purpose of the crossing guard is to ensure that ALL pedestrians are safely guided across the street.
