INVITATION TO BID Project: FURNACE ROAD AND FRONT STREET IMPROVEMENTS: Project generally consists of; Front Street: Constructing curbing bump-outs, three ADA ramps, plantings, two storm inlets, 18” SLCPP piping, end section, 2,200 SY of milling and bituminous overlay, 1,040 SY of bituminous bike path with infiltration trenches, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction. Furnace Road: 2,750 SY of reconstruction and bituminous overlay, construction of 1,100 SY gravel parking area, BMP, 1,250 SY of impervious and pervious bituminous bike paths, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction. The Work will be performed under one Contract as follows: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION Owner: BOROUGH OF MARIETTA 111 East Market Street Marietta, PA 17547 Engineer: ARRO CONSULTING, INC. 108 West Airport Road Lititz, PA 17543 Bids will be received via the PennBid Program until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on February 7, 2023. A pre-bid meeting followed by a site visit will be held at 9:30 A.M., prevailing time, on January 12, 2023, at the office of the Owner. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting and site visit is not required, but is recommended. The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry.
