NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) CLAY TOWNSHIP NONUNIFORM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PENSION FUND The Township of Clay, Lancaster County Pennsylvania is inviting firms to submit a proposal for investment managers for its nonuniform employee pension fund. The Plan has about $359,000 in assets. The successful investment manager will offer custodial services to provide secure possession, investment placement, reporting and distribution of pension assets. The Investment Manager will also provide investment counseling services to provide sound strategies for the stability, preservation, and growth of pension assets. The Request for Proposal also includes actuarial services including preparation of actuarial valuation reports and forms to be submitted to the Public Employee Retirement Commission under Act 205. Copies of the Request for Proposal, including specific requirements, the organization of the proposal, and proposal evaluation criteria may be obtained at the Clay Township Municipal Building, 870 Durlach Road Stevens, PA 17578, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Copies may also be obtained by email request to Bruce Leisey, Township Manager at bruce@claytwp .com. Sealed proposals, Four (4) copies and (1) electronic version, must be received by the Clay Township at 870 Durlach Road Stevens, PA 17578 no later than June 14, 2023, at 4 pm EST and the same will be immediately opened thereafter. If mailed the proposal should be addressed to Bruce Leisey, Township Manager and the envelope clearly marked “Clay Township Pension Fund Administrator Proposal”. Any contact for additional information should be made to Bruce Leisey, via email at bruce@claytwp.com The proposals must be made to Clay Township, Lancaster County Pennsylvania and must remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days.
