INVITATION TO BID – Shippensburg University
Project Number and Name: SU-2022-4/B: Henderson Gymnasium Locker Room Renovation
Shippensburg University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites General, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this project at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania consists of renovations to several locker rooms at Henderson Gymnasium. The work includes general work for finishes, shower partitions, new walls and installation of doors and some masonry infill and demo. Plumbing work includes upgrades to the shower rooms at Henderson Gymnasium as well as multiple new fixtures and new plumbing piping. HVAC work includes new steam unit heaters and piping, miscellaneous duct work and the replacement of exhaust fans and controls. Electrical work includes a new sub panel, wiring for lighting and power to new lockers and new receptacles and data for TV/AV.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on January 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Harley Hall Multi-Purpose room which is across from the Reed Operations Center. Pre-Bid Conference is non-mandatory but highly recommended.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, on February 8, 2023 through Ariba Discovery – Source Point Bid Event located at http://seller.ariba.com
