NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SANITARY SEWER INTERNAL
INSPECTION AND REHABILITATION
CONTRACT NO. 153

Sealed bids for Sanitary Sewer Internal Inspection and Rehabilitation will be received by the Township of Abington, Abington, PA 19001 located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania until 11:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday December 27, 2022 and at said time be opened in compliance with the PENNBID system procedures.

This project involves the cleaning and internal televising inspection of approximately 30,000 feet of 8" - 12" diameter sanitary sewer mains including lateral cleaning and internal inspections. Also included are rehabilitation of pipe joints utilizing chemical grouting in sewer mains and lateral pipes. The various project areas are located throughout the Township of Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

The Contract Documents must be obtained only through the PENNBID system. The Contract and Bid Documents will be available in digital (PDF) format.

Hardcopies of the above described Contract Documents may be examined at the offices of Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania at the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1000 Fitzwatertown Road, Roslyn, PA 19001 (215-884-8329).

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are open. Withdrawal of a bid shall be in accordance with the Withdrawal of Bids Law, Act of January 23, 1974, P.L. 9, No. 4, 73 P.S. ยง 1601, et seq. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract as required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents.

The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.
