The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price modification to HealthVerity, Inc. Contract# 75D30121C11559.
The purpose of Contract# 75D30121C11559 is to obtain a unique large volume data source (> 50 million individuals or larger) of de-identified, patient-level, real world healthcare data that is interoperable and can be linked across medical and pharmacy claims (including both open and closed systems), chargemaster, electronic medical record (EMR), and laboratory data at the patient-level using privacy-preserving record linkage (PPRL).
The purpose of this anticipated modification is to add two (2) additional tasks from the modification award date up to and including the contract end-date of 09/21/2023.
Task 10: Newborn Screening for Congenital Conditions (NBS): The contractor shall provide summary information and line-level data needed to evaluate trends in newborn screening frequency and results (normal, abnormal, other) for congenital conditions prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic for births that occurred in hospitals and birth center facilities during 2017–2021. The data ecosystem for this task includes medical claims, pharmacy claims, chargemaster, laboratory, and EMR data sources.
Task 11: Monkeypox Dataset: The contractor shall provide all de-identified patients that have an Mpox diagnosis in any medical claims or EMR data source or a positive or negative Mpox diagnostic laboratory test, or patients receiving treatment for Mpox such as TPOX or a vaccination to prevent Mpox
This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any proposal/response shall be emailed to contract specialist at wyv2@cdc.gov by 5:00 PM EST on 03/24/2023.
