Description

DRS Laurel Technologies of Johnstown, Pennsylvania is awarded Firm-Fixed Price option CLINs and 66 PIO Spares

parts for the procurement of AN/USQ-82(V) Gigabit Ethernet Data Multiplex System (GEDMS) hardware in support of

DDG 51 New Construction and DDG 51 Class Modernization. GEDMS transfers mission critical data to and from users

associated with combat, navigation, aviation, power, propulsion, steering, alarms & indicating, and damage control

systems. This modification includes Foreingn Military Sales to Canada and Australia. The modification to the existing

DRS contract includes options which, if exercised, would increase the contract by $31,865,361. Work will be performed

in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed by December 2025. The Naval Sea Systems Command,

Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity (N00024-17-C-4109).
