This solicitation is expected to result in award of a Basic Ordering Agreement to Rockwell Automation for the procurement of FFG 63 Ship Control Console Internal Components. The ordering period is anticipated to be sixty (60) months. The Government intends to make an award by 30 December 2022. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Rockwell is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy’s requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract modifications are for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all information received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be made in writing by E-mail to the attention of Jon Bradshaw via email at joanthan.p.bradshaw3@navy.mil by 4:00 PM on 22 December 2022.
