The Marine Corps Installations, National Capital Region – Regional Contracting Office (MCINCR-RCO), Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA is seeking information on behalf of Headquarters Marine Corps, Communication Directorate (CD).

CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS. Marine Corps Installations – National Capital Region, Regional Contracting Office (MCINCR RCO), located on Marine Corps Base, 2010 Henderson Road, Quantico, VA.

INTRODUCTION. Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Communication Directorate (CD) serves as a liaison to plan, coordinate, and implement communication strategies designed to build mutually beneficial relationships with the public. As part of community outreach, the United States Marine Corps will be participating in the combined 2023 Navy/Marine Corps Week held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the week of October 8-16, 2023.

OBJECTIVE. The objective of this Sources Sought Announcement is to identify sources capable of providing the level of lodging required to meet the Government’s needs.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The hotel shall provide the following:

• Accommodations up to 200 Marines; estimated 120 hotel-room block with both single and double rooms.


• Hotel must be located within 2 miles to the event (downtown Philadelphia area).


• Provide complimentary parking, or parking package.


• Provide complimentary Wi-Fi.


• On-site conference (function) space with Audio Visual Setup to accommodate up to 50 individuals.

INDUSTRY FEEDBACK. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCMENT (SSA) ONLY to obtain industry’s feedback on the anticipated technical specifications, potential cost, and performance risks, as well as any other related considerations for the required item.

Please provide feedback on the following:

1. Can you meet this requirement? Please include capability statement in response to this SSA addressing each of the Description of Services above.


2. Do you have Government experience providing similar services? Do you offer a government rate for large groups?


3. Do you sell these services on GSA or any existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) or Government-Wide Multiple Award Contracts (GWAC)?


4. What is your size-status (e.g., Large Business, Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, etc.)?


5. What additional information is needed in a formal solicitation for your company to provide a quote?

SUBMISSION DETAILS. Submissions shall reference SSA No. “M00264-23-SSA-0033 CD Hotel Rooms” in the subject line. Interested vendors who wish to respond to this SSA should send responses via email no later than 5 September 2023, 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) to melissa.chabot@usmc.mil.

Interested vendors should respond to the questions cited under the “INDUSTRY FEEBACK” section of this document. Questions and comments regarding this requirement will be accepted, reviewed, and answered if the Government determines responses are warranted.

PROPRIETARY INFORMATION. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All government personal reviewing SSA responses understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from unauthorized disclosure of proprietary information as described 41 USC 423. The Government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified.
