Shenango River Lake is located in Hermitage and Transfer, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Public-use facilities owned and operated by the Corps at Shenango include three developed recreation areas including a 330-site campground, shower houses, restrooms, boat launches, swim beach, various access areas and administrative offices. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, vehicles, tools, supplies and equipment to collect and dispose of rubbish, trash and construction trash at the following (5) locations within the park:

The Contractor shall supply two and four cubic yard steel dumpsters. Dumpsters shall be of a uniform dark green color and shall be void of the Contractor name, company logo, or advertisement.

Collection includes removal of all contents in the container and all trash, paper, bottles, cans, and other debris on the ground within a ten-foot radius of the container. Each container shall be returned to its original location and the lid closed.

Standard safety decals and the message "NOT TO BE USED FOR HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE" shall be attached to the dumpsters. There are no weight limitations restricting garbage collection vehicles from operating on Shenango Lake Property.

The collection can be performed, either on Monday or Tuesday; but shall occur on the same day every week. If a holiday falls on the pickup day, then collection will be on the proceeding day.

The proposed period of performance will be a base year from 1 November 2023 – 31 October 2024 with four (4) one (1) year option periods.

Base: 1 November 2023 – 31 October 2024

Option Year One: 31 October 2024 – 1 November 2025

Option Year Two: 31 October 2025 – 1 November 2026

Option Year Three: 31 October 2026 – 1 November 2027

Option Year Four: 31 October 2027 – 1 November 2028

Any resulting award will be for one, firm-fixed price, purchase order to the responsible prospective contractor whose quote is lowest (in accordance with FAR 9.104-1 (available at https://www.acquisition.gov/far/subpart-9.1)).

The Request for Quote will be issued on or about 6 October 2023 online only at SAM.GOV under Contract Opportunities. The anticipated quote submission due date is 16 October 2023.

Quoters must have a current and active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of quote submission in order to be awarded a contract. Quotes from quoters not registered in SAM will not be considered. The SAM Registration process is free to all vendors and may be accessed at www.SAM.GOV. PLEASE ensure your annual SAM registration is current. If it has expired, or will soon, PLEASE START THE RENEWAL PROCESS TODAY if you intend to submit a quote.
