BID INVITE FOR COLERAIN TOWNSHIP Bids for the Culvert Replacement Project on Morrison Mill Road will be received electronically by MAC Resources, Inc., 167 West Main Street, Suite 1, Trappe, PA 19426, until 5:00 P.M., Friday, April 26, 2024. Bids to be awarded May 6, 2024 at the regular monthly meeting 7:00 P.M. held at the Township Building 1803 Kirkwood Pike Kirkwood, PA 17536. Bid shall be submitted electronically to Ms. Lisa D’Andrea, P.E. at ljd@medltd.com . Copies of the bid documents can be obtained electronically for no fee by contacting Mr. Jeffrey Amerine, Senior Designer at jlainpa44@gmail.com . Mr. Amerine can be contacted with questions about the project or bid package. For this project MAC Resources, Inc. (Engineer) is acting as agent for Colerain Township, 1803 Kirkwood Pike, Kirkwood, PA 17536. The project is located at Morrison Mill Road’s crossing of a Tributary to Coopers Run, approximately 0.25-mile northeast of Morrison Mill Road’s intersection with Sproul Road. The coordinates of the site are 39° 51’ 08.5” N / 76° 03’ 23.2” W. The project consists of the replacement of an existing 60” diameter metal pipe culvert with an Aluminum Box Culvert having a span of 15’ 4” and a rise of 6’ 5”. Also include in the project’s scope of work will be the installation of roadway subbase and the installation of guiderail. Bids must be accompanied by a Statement of Qualifications Form (SOQ). The SOQ should include a listing of similar projects and a reference name for each project. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening. A performance and materials bond must be provided before starting the work. Work must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The bid submission must include the following sections: -Bid Form -Agreement -Statement of Qualifications Colerain Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
