INVITATION TO BID OWNER: Manheim Township, 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601, 717-569-6408 LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER: Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc., 220 St. Charles Way, Suite 200, York, PA 17402, (717) 741-6269 Bids will be received online by Manheim Township via PennBid until 1:00 PM prevailing time on Tuesday March 05, 2024. Plans and contract documents are available electronically on PennBid ( https://pennbid.bo nfirehub.com ). Bids will be opened and a summary of bids received will be issued via a Public Notice on PennBid after bid opening. NO Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this project. Inquiries shall be submitted using the “Clarifications” feature in PennBid. The project consists of the complete furnishing and installation of pickleball courts at Overlook Park, and all other associated work as indicated on the plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Manheim Township; or a Bid Bond in favor of Manheim Township, in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workers employed on this project. Manheim Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to readvertise and award the contract in the regular manner or to waive any informality in the bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable in the interest of Manheim Township.
