ADVERTISEMENT TO BID LIQUID SLUDGE HAULING Sealed bids for the hauling of liquid sludge will be received by the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority through the PennBid program ( https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com ) at 11:00 am, March 13, 2024, and results will be publicly viewable at the earliest moment thereafter. This advertisement to bid is for the hauling of liquid sludge from the Brownstown Wastewater Treatment Plant located in West Earl Township at 161 Locust Street Leola, PA to the Blue Rock Water Resource Recovery Facility located in Manor Township at 4160 Blue Rock Rd., Washington Boro, PA. The contract will be for a 3-year term and if mutually agreeable for two additional 1-year renewals. The quantity of sludge to be hauled is 25,000 gallons per week more-or-less. Award will be based on the lowest cost per gallon delivered to the Authority’s facility. Bids shall be accompanied by a scan of the bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the first year of sludge hauling. The lowest responsible bidder shall submit the actual Bid Security to the Authority within three business days after bid opening. The Lancaster Area Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all Bids and waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any Bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof. LANCASTER AREA SEWER AUTHORITY
