SEALED BIDS WANTED Sealed bids for the development of a universal access trail at the Lloyd Clark Nature Preserve will be received online via the PennBid Program ( www.PennBid.net ) by the Lancaster Conservancy, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania until 12:00 PM, Monday, December 18, 2023. The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 12:00 PM (prevailing time), same date. Copies of Bidding Documents for the Lloyd Clark Universal Access Trail at the Clark Nature Preserve are available online and at no cost at www.PennBid.net . A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Lancaster Conservancy in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. A pre-bid conference will be held at the Clark Nature Preserve located at 400 House Rock Rd, Pequea, PA, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Bidder attendance is mandatory. All contractors are required to make a Good Faith Effort to provide the opportunity for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms to participate in the performance of this construction Contract. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
