INVITATION TO BID LANCASTER COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY TRANSFER STATION COMPLEX SITE LANDSCAPING Sealed Bids for the above-referenced Project will be received by the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority ("Owner") until, and will be publicly opened on April 4, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. (local time) in the Owner's Office at 1299 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603. There will not be a formal Pre-Bid Meeting conducted for the above-referenced Project. Bidders should contact the Owner to schedule a site visit if needed. All questions must be submitted by March 22, 2024 at 4:00 PM. The Project generally includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: 1. Procurement/installation of new site landscaping/landscaping features including, but not limited to, shrubs, trees, flowers, grass seed, and mulch. 2. Site restoration as necessary. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents are available from the Owner at no charge. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid total. No Bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after Bid opening, and the Owner shall award a contract or reject all Bids on or before such sixty (60) day period. It is the Owner’s intent to begin construction at the earliest possible date after award of a contract. The Owner reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any Bid at its sole discretion.
