The County of Lancaster, Pennsylvania is soliciting bids for Cadaver Transportation Services.
The County is seeking to establish a contract for remains transportation services for the deceased. It is the intention of the County to contract with a qualified transportation provider to fulfill this obligation in the most economic and efficient manner. Companies submitting bids must have demonstrated experience in said services as they pertain to municipal entities. There are approximately 350 transport calls per calendar year.
All bids, ONE (1) complete bid packet, inclusive of financial bid, with original signatures and required documents marked as “ORIGINAL”, ONE (1) set of requires documents with original signatures (see Bid Pricing Form – page 21), and ONE (1) complete electronic copy of submission response packet on a USB Flash Drive, should be delivered or mailed to the Chief Clerk’s Office, Lancaster County Government Center, 150 North Queen Street, Suite 715 Lancaster, PA 17603 to arrive no later than 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at which time they will be opened. Bids received after this time and date will not be considered.
Bids must be clearly identified on the outside of the sealed package with the words “BIDS FOR CADAVER TRANSPORTATION SERVICES (23-010)”.
