Description:

The Department of Human Services, Torrance State Hospital is seeking a contractor to provide POULTRY ITEMS FOR DELIVER APRIL TO JUNE 2024, for consumers located at State Route 1014, Torrance, PA 15779, Westmoreland County.
The quantities listed are estimates and may increase or decrease based on the needs of the facility.
Bidders will only bid on the acceptable brands, package size and codes as specified. All items to be in accordance with the attached PA Specifications.
If an approved brand/manufacturer is not listed on the attached specs, the hospital will consider other brands-please indicate the manufacturer you are bidding on. These alternate brands will only be considered if no brand is listed on the state specs. Always bid on the unit of measure listed.
Delivery dates are specified within the item text in accordance with facility storage space allotment and must be adhered to by the awarded vendor. Alternate deliveries may be arranged, as required. Quantities may be adjusted at the request of the dietary department to meet the needs of our consumers.
Delivery to be made the day specified, between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:45 am. Delivery not made on a state holiday.
PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER MUST BE SHOWN ON ALL PACKING SLIPS, INVOICES, AND ANY DELIVERY CORRESPONDENCE.
Bid awarded on lowest price per line item.
Bids are due February 26, 2024 at 2:00pm and must be submitted electronically. Late bids will be disqualified. Contractors must enter firm prices for all contracted years and provide appropriate responses to all “Mandatory Attributes” contained in the solicitation. Failure to submit bid as
described may result in yours being rejected as a non-responsive bidder.
