West Chester University invites General Construction Contractors and Electrical Construction Contractors to bid on the following scope of work:
Work included under this Project consists of exterior façade improvements to the house and detached garage located at Tanglewood, 100E. Rosedale Ave., West Chester PA 19383. In general, the work consists of removal and replacement of exterior windows and shutters, removal of lead-based paint, repair/remediation of unstable stucco, repair/replacement of unsuitable woodwork, painting of all woodwork, and refurbishment/replacement of exterior light fixtures. This includes the removal of lead-based paint. Tanglewood is the university’s president’s residence, and the house, garage and grounds will be occupied during construction.
