INVITATION TO BID ? COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY ? BLOOMSBURG CAMPUS
BL-1243: Laubach Drive Steam Line Replacement (Rebid)
Commonwealth University ? Bloomsburg Campus of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Mechanical Contractors, to download bid documents for this project. Work includes but not limited to construction required includes all work as shown on the drawings and included in the contract documents to and construct new steam and condensate lines in a drainable, dryable, testable (DDT) Class A system with expansion elbows, expansion loops and concrete anchor blocks. Locate and protect existing utilities and facilities. Temporarily or permanently relocate existing utilities and facilities to accommodate the new work. Provide all excavation, backfill, sheeting, shoring, dewatering, rock excavation, test pitting, surveying, and layout required for the work. Demolish and dispose of existing piping, insulation, traps, valves, sump pumps, and all other existing features in existing manholes to accommodate new work. Cap, plug and seal abandoned steam and condensate lines. Install new steam and condensate piping, valves, supports, insulation, and related features in manholes.
A Mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on October 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Warren Student Services Center (WSSC) Room 140 on the campus of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg Pa 17815. Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EST on November 15, 2022 through Ariba Discovery ? Source Point Bid Event located at http://seller.ariba.com
