SSHE CWU-0035-B: Hartline Chiller / Cooling Tower Replacement
Commonwealth University – Bloomsburg Campus of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Mechanical and Electrical Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work includes but not limited to construction required includes all work as shown on the drawings and included in the contract documents for the removal of (2) absorption chillers to be replaced with one electric chiller. The existing cooling tower is removed and replaced in kind. Work includes Removal of two absorption chillers and one cooling tower along with existing including piping and appurtenances, chiller pads, install one new electrical chiller and one new cooling tower along with associated piping and controls. Install new refrigerant monitoring system. Provide new structural supports for cooling tower. Disconnect power to removed equipment. Provide new circuits to new mechanical equipment. Patch and repair for walls and ceiling associated with installation on new conduits
A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on January 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Kuster Auditorium of the Hartline Building on the campus of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg Pa 17815. Contractor shall a representative from the crane company present to review the delivery path and project site.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EST on January 24, 2024, through PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint located at http://seller.ariba.com.
The Bid package is available at http://seller.ariba.com. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register at PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint http://seller.ariba.com.
