Coal Delivery System Replacement
Slippery Rock University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites
Contractors to download bid documents for this project.
Work shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the Mechanical Construction Contractor according to Pennsylvania statute and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Work included under this Project consists of construction activity to include demolition of existing coal delivery equipment within the central heating plant, located on the upper campus of the Slippery Rock University. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and testing necessary for the installation and commissioning of new coal delivery equipment identified on the contract drawings.
Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Construction to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education and the University.
A non-mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on February 14, 2024, at 9:30AM, at the Heating Plant, 100 Service Drive located in Slippery Rock, PA 16057. The Pre-Bid Conference is non-mandatory.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST on March 28, 2024, through PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint located at http://seller.ariba.com.
The Bid package is available at http://seller.ariba.com. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register at PASSHE’s ARIBA Sourcepoint http://seller.ariba.com.
