PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all prospective bidders that Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, will receive sealed bids for the following projects: Upgrade of the Existing HVAC Systems at the Township Building Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online until 11:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 25 th day of October 2022 at which time they will be virtually opened by way of a Zoom meeting. All documents and solicitation details are available any time at PennBid™ ( https://pennbid.procureware.com/home ) by clicking on the bids tab. Hard copies of all documents may be optionally purchased through PennBid. Estimated cost is $100.00. Project drawings and documents are available for inspection at the offices of Abington Township 1776 Old York Rd. Abington, PA 19001.

The Scope of Work for all contracts consists of but is not limited to: Upgrade to the existing HVAC & Electrical systems within the Township Building.

Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Abington Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.

All prospective bidders are hereby notified that this project is subject to PA Prevailing Wages determined for the project as set forth in the Contract Documents.

Mandatory Bonds and Guarantees - A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid will be required. Bid guarantees, performance bonds and payment bonds will be required in accordance with 40 C.F.R. §31.36(h). Bonds are required to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

A non- mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled onsite for October 13, 2022, at 10:00 AM. at the project site, The Abington Township Building, located at 1776 Old York Rd. Abington, PA 19001.
